BitArmor Systems seeks a full-time software engineer with prior team-oriented development experience. The position involves software development for a next-generation data security product.

The candidate should have a strong background in C# or C++ development. Familiarity with today's computer security market and security concepts such as authentication, confidentiality, and integrity is desired. Programming experience in the Windows environment is desired.

Required qualifications include:

• B.S. or M.S. degree in computer science or computer engineering

• 5+ years experience in development of application and/or system software for Windows/Unix environments

• Deep knowledge of C++ or C# programming languages

• Deep knowledge of multi-threaded programming and systems

• TCP/IP networking knowledge

• Solid understanding of the software development process

• Strong organizational skills

• Effective at multi-tasking, working under tight deadlines and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision

• Excellent written language skills and ability to write clear, concise, and easy-to-understand documentation

Plusses:

• Experience in developing cryptographic software and systems

• Startup experience

• Proficient with Visual Studio or Mono development tools

• Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, Novell eDirectory, LDAP, or other directory services

• Familiarity with operating system security concepts

• Linux operating system experience
