BitArmor Releases Enhanced DataControl Software, Improving Information Security With Support for Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista Operating Systems

Company announces forthcoming enterprise management for Windows BitLocker Drive Encryption

SAN FRANCISCO, RSA CONFERENCE, April 9, 2008 — BitArmor™, the leader in data control software that helps corporate executives protect and manage sensitive data throughout their organizations, today announced the availability of significant improvements to its DataControl™ software, enhancing its data protection and management capabilities when paired with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista operating systems.

In addition, the company said it will introduce enterprise management capabilities for Microsoft Windows BitLocker Drive Encryption in the third quarter of this year, making BitArmor DataControl an integrated, comprehensive software product available for helping to protect Windows-based data, regardless of where it resides, either in-flight across networks or at rest on devices such as laptops or servers. The announcements were made today at the RSA Conference, being held here in San Francisco; BitArmor is an exhibitor in the Microsoft Partner Pavilion.

Windows BitLocker is a new drive encryption technology introduced with the Windows Vista operating system.
